Fill in Email Details
Choose a username (e.g., username@yourdomain.com). Common professional choices include: hello@, contact@, support@, sales@, or yourname@.
Pro Tip: Avoid using "info@" as it is heavily targeted by automated spam bots.
Security & Quota
-
Set Strong Password: Use 12+ characters, mixed case, and numbers. Use the built-in generator if available. -
Set Storage Quota: We recommend choosing "Unlimited" to ensure you never bounce incoming mail.
Configure Email on Your Devices
You have two primary ways to access your new email account. You can use our built-in webmail or connect your favorite email app.
Option A: Webmail
The absolute easiest way to check your email. Works from any web browser on any computer with zero configuration.
No setup required Access from anywhere Auto-login from client area
Option B: Email Apps
Connect to Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or your smartphone. Requires configuring the secure server settings below.
Best for daily desktop/mobile use Offline access to messages Unified inbox for multiple accounts
Secure Connection Settings (IMAP/SMTP)
Use these exact details when adding your account to any email application.
IMAP vs POP3 Recommendation
Always select IMAP when configuring your devices. IMAP syncs your emails across the server, your phone, and your computer seamlessly. POP3 downloads and removes the email from the server, causing issues with multiple devices.
Test Your Email Setup
Once configured, send a test email to yourself from another account. Reply to it to ensure receiving and sending are fully operational across your connected devices.
Managing & Troubleshooting
Changing Passwords
If you forget your password or need to update it for security, return to your hosting panel's Email Accounts section. Click 'Manage' next to the email address to instantly generate a new password.
Common Connection Issues
-
Cannot Connect: Verify server hostname matches mail.yourdomain.com, check ports (993/465), and ensure SSL is enabled. -
Auth Failed: Ensure your username is your entire email address, not just the prefix. -
Sending Fails: Ensure 'SMTP Authentication' is checked in your app and outgoing port is 465 (or 587).
